Learning the Language of the Nervous System
Over the sessions you will learn how to work with nervous system knowledge for your own particular needs - including:
An introduction to embodiment, the autonomic nervous system, and exploring how looking at life through the lens of the autonomic nervous system offers new possibilities and creates access to more regulating energy for all of us.
Learn how to incorporate Polyvagal Theory: a great framework for understanding the nervous system, including the organizing principles, essential elements and neurological underpinnings.
Understand how working together consciously with our own nervous systems opens up so many possibilities for all of us. Learn how to bring various theoretical models alive, make it more personal and use it in everyday life at home, work and out in the world.
Find the Vocabulary for Inner Experiences
Find the vocabulary for relating inner experiences with the nervous system: delving into research showing how the Vagus Nerve works in connection with our sensations and needs.
Understand the principles of movements and micro-movements in helping us bring awareness to our experiences.
Explore various models including NFP (neurofascial processing) and other tools, practices and exercises to savor and engage positive experiences to reshape our own nervous systems and support others to do that.

Reshaping Towards Deeper Resilience
Look at how to bring in mindfulness and meditation to enhance our abilities to consciously engage and reshape the autonomic nervous system.
Learn embodied techniques for listening to and resourcing the space in-between inner and outer experiences - and explore connection and what we mean by co-regulation.
Looking at the stages and the development of emotional regulation, exploring our ‘between experiences’ so we can disrupt habitual autonomic patterns related to relational triggers.
Dive more deeply towards resilience: learning how to develop a conscious habit of traveling between autonomic states and deepen emerging patterns of regulation. Learning how to strengthen and tailor pathways towards healing, confidence and growing a flexible state of resilience for yourself and others.
